Important Dates
  • The deadline for entries is Thursday the 18th of July. We therefore encourage all potential entrants to submit their entries as soon as possible, and to contact Bilal Adada with any questions or queries on +971 2 642 9449 or info@adihex.com
  • The award shortlist will be published in the week commencing Sunday the 28th of July.
  • The award ceremony takes place on the opening day of ADIHEX, Tuesday, the 27th of August from 5pm onwards at Conference B, ADNEC, Abu Dhabi, UAE.
How to Submit Your Entry
  • All entries must be submitted in English and Arabic
  • You can enter as many categories as you like.
  • Your entry must be sent to info@adihex.com
  • Uploaded images MUST NOT exceed 3MB per image – those that are will be excluded from your entry.
  • Your entry will be evaluated against the criteria set out during the online process and in the guidelines detailed in this document. Please pay careful attention to these, keeping your submission clear, factual and to the point, concisely addressing the questions that you are being asked to answer.
  • Assertions should be backed up with convincing evidence. Use verifiable statistics and testimonials where possible.
  • Please bear in mind that the judges are not interested in slick language or formatting but instead a clear and convincing description of the qualities and performance of your work against the criteria.
  • Uploaded image files must contain single, rather than multiple images. These images may have a title superimposed upon them, but must not carry wording meant to extend the corresponding text entry. Those that do will be excluded from your entry.
Judging Process
  • A panel of leading industry experts will review shortlisted submissions, scoring them in isolation and with equal influence on the result, with the final winners being decided upon by group consensus.
  • In the result of any dead-heats after the first round of judging, the entry with the most first (and then second, third and fourth) places will be selected as the winner. In the extremely rare instance that a dead-heat remains after this has process has been applied, the chair of the judging panel will be asked to reconsider the deadlocked entries and select the winner.
  • Judges are appointed based on their seniority, respect and experience in the hunting and equestrian industry. Event sponsors are not included in the judging process.
  • Judges will not review entries made by their own organisations or clients, or indeed any other body which may present a potential conflict of interest.

  • The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into regarding either the shortlisting or choice of winner.
  • No employee of Emirates Falconers’ Club or their families can enter.
  • Awards sponsors cannot enter the category they are sponsoring.
  • Supporting documentation or promotional materials sent in addition to your entry will be disregarded.
Eligibility & Confidentiality
  • The awards are open to all companies, organisations, individuals and establishments in the hunting, falconry, equestrian, outdoor sports, arts and crafts and environment, cultural and heritage preservation sectors based in the Middle East & North African region. For further detail on each award, please refer to the category description and entry criteria.
  • The timeframe for all awards is from the 1st of April to-date. Your establishment must have been open – or you must have been in your current post – since this date for the relevant category.
  • All entries and voting results are kept confidential and will not be shared with the other entrants or any third party.
